This time of year is usually so busy for everyone, with various end-of-year parties and Christmas parties, the temptation is always there to perhaps over-indulge in food and drink.

All told this often results in a post Christmas Day malaise, both mentally and bodily.

The following suggestions may well be used to regain a zest for life as a New Year approaches.

Dietwise:   use rosehips tea, whey, soured milk products, buckwheat, millet, garlic, lecithin, rutin, honey, bee pollen, cayenne, Ginseng, Sarsaparilla, Kelp, cold pressed vegetable oils and Brewer’s Yeast.

Treat yourself to exercise out in the fresh air, practise under-eating and even try 1 – 3 days of juice fasting (except diabetics, pregnant or lactating Mums or those with stomach ulcers), think young and enjoy regular sex.

Avoid smoking, coffee, tea, alcohol (Swedish Bitters – 2 table-spoons can make a drunk sober on the spot), salt, sugar and white flours.

Specific REJUVENATIVE PRODUCTS are:  Brewer’s Yeast – up to 5 tablespoons daily, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Ribo-nucleic-Acid, Ginseng, garlic and Rutin.  Recommended daily allowances should be prescribed by a health professional, ie a Naturopath such as myself.

Vitamin E prevents oxidation (cellular damage), increases cell oxygenation = ENERGY, keeps the endocrine glands well ie hormone producing glands such as the pituitary, thyroid, adrenals, ovaries and testes, and it aids in sex hormone production.

Over-loaded systems tax the liver, an herbal tonic especially for the liver improves digestion, elimination and general VITALITY, and then another specific remedy can be prescribed for fatty liver, a fairly common health disorder in recent years.

I wish you well this post-Christmas holiday season!
